ORIOZ SEO AI›Documentation
Introduction
Welcome to the ORIOZ SEO AI documentation. This plugin lets you generate fully written, SEO-optimized WordPress posts using any AI model available on OpenRouter — including GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Llama, and 100+ others.
Everything runs through your own OpenRouter API key. Your content never passes through a third-party server, and you only pay your API provider for what you actually use.
✅New to the plugin? Head straight to Installation and follow the steps — you will have your first post generated in under 5 minutes.
What the plugin does
- Generates complete blog posts from a title — including H2/H3 structure, introduction, body, and conclusion
- Automatically fills in Yoast SEO and Rank Math fields (meta description, focus keyword)
- Optionally generates a featured image using AI image models
- Lets you queue multiple titles and generate them one by one or in bulk
- Tracks your live API credits and estimated cost per post before generating

Connect OpenRouter
ORIOZ SEO AI uses OpenRouter as its AI backend. OpenRouter gives you access to 100+ models — including GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, Mistral, Llama — through a single API key.
Get your OpenRouter API key
1Create a free accountGo to openrouter.ai and sign up for a free account.2Add creditsTop up your account with a few dollars — even a small amount will generate hundreds of posts depending on the model you choose.3Generate an API keyGo to Settings → API Keys in your OpenRouter dashboard and click Create Key. Copy the key.
Add the key to the plugin
Go to ORIOZ SEO AI → Settings → API. Paste your OpenRouter key and click Save & Connect. The plugin will instantly load all available models with their live pricing.
💡Tip: The cost per post varies by model. Gemini 2.5 Flash is among the cheapest (approx. .004/post). GPT-4o costs approx. .012/post. The plugin shows you the estimated cost before every generation.
General Settings
Find all plugin settings under ORIOZ SEO AI → Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Default model | The AI model pre-selected when you open the generator. You can override it per post. |
| Default word count | Target word count for generated posts (300–3000). Actual length may vary slightly by model. |
| Default post status | Whether generated posts are saved as Draft, Pending Review, or Published immediately. |
| Default post category | Category automatically assigned to generated posts. |
| Default author | WordPress user assigned as author for all generated posts. |
| Default language | Language the AI will write in. Leave blank to auto-detect from your site language. |
Custom Prompts
ORIOZ SEO AI lets you fully customize the prompts sent to the AI — both for the article content and for the meta description. This lets you control tone, structure, and style.
Content prompt
The content prompt is the main instruction sent to the AI. You can use the following dynamic placeholders:
| Placeholder | Replaced with |
|---|---|
| {{title}} | The post title you entered |
| {{niche}} | Your site niche (set in General Settings) |
| {{word_count}} | The target word count |
| {{language}} | The target language |
Example content prompt
Write a detailed, SEO-optimized blog post about "{{title}}" for a {{niche}} website. The article should be approximately {{word_count}} words, written in {{language}}. Structure: an engaging introduction, at least 3 H2 sections, and a conclusion. Use a friendly, authoritative tone. Write in valid HTML using <h2>, <h3>, and <p> tags only.Meta prompt
The meta prompt generates the SEO meta description automatically filled into Yoast SEO or Rank Math. Keep it focused on extracting a concise 150-character summary.
💡Always end your content prompt with an instruction to use HTML tags. This ensures the output is properly formatted when inserted into the WordPress editor.
Generate a Post
The generator is the core of the plugin. You will find it under ORIOZ SEO AI → Generate in your WordPress dashboard.
1Enter a post titleType the title of the article you want to generate. Be specific — the more descriptive the title, the better the output.2Select a modelChoose the AI model to use from the dropdown. The estimated cost per post is shown next to each model name.3Set the word countAdjust the target word count if needed. The default is set in General Settings.4Click GenerateThe plugin sends your prompt to OpenRouter and creates the post in WordPress. Depending on the model and word count, generation takes 10–30 seconds.ℹGenerated posts are saved with the default status set in General Settings (Draft by default). You can review and edit them before publishing.
Using the Queue
Instead of generating posts one at a time, you can add multiple titles to the queue and generate them sequentially. Find the queue under ORIOZ SEO AI → Queue.
Adding titles to the queue
Type or paste a list of titles — one per line — and click Add to Queue. Each title becomes a separate item in the queue list.
Running the queue
Click Generate Next to process one title at a time, or use Bulk Generation (Business) to process all titles simultaneously.
⚠Generating many posts in sequence consumes API credits. Always check your live balance before running a large queue.
Bulk Generation Business
Bulk Generation lets you process your entire queue simultaneously instead of one by one. Available on the Business plan.
From the Queue screen, click Generate All. A real-time progress tracker shows how many posts have been generated, how many are in progress, and how many are remaining. You can stop the process at any time by clicking Stop.
⚡Bulk Generation processes multiple posts in parallel. The number of simultaneous requests depends on the rate limits of the model you selected on OpenRouter.
Post Scheduling Business
Post Scheduling lets you set a publish date for each post in the queue. The plugin saves the post as a WordPress future post and triggers auto-publish at the scheduled time via WP-Cron.
How to schedule a post
When adding a title to the queue, toggle on Schedule and pick a date and time. The post will be generated immediately and published automatically at the scheduled time — no manual action needed.
⚠Scheduling relies on WP-Cron. If your hosting provider disables WP-Cron or your site receives very little traffic, scheduled posts may not publish on time.
AI Title Generator Business
Instead of writing your own titles, let AI suggest a full list of SEO-optimized ideas based on your niche or a seed keyword.
1Enter a niche or keyword“personal finance for millennials” or “WordPress speed optimization”.2Generate ideasClick Generate Titles. The AI returns a list of 10–20 SEO-friendly title suggestions.3Select and add to queueCheck the titles you want and click Add Selected to Queue. They will be ready to generate in one click.
AI Image Generation Pro
When enabled, ORIOZ SEO AI automatically generates a featured image for each post using AI image models. The image is generated based on the post title and set directly as the WordPress featured image.
Enable image generation
Go to ORIOZ SEO AI → Settings → Images and toggle Auto-generate featured image on. Select the image model to use — available options include GPT image models and Gemini image models via OpenRouter.
ℹImage generation uses separate credits from text generation. The cost per image depends on the model selected. You will see the estimated image cost before generating.
Model Fallback Chains Pro
A fallback chain is a list of AI models tried in order. If the primary model fails or is temporarily unavailable, the plugin automatically tries the next model in the chain — ensuring your posts always get generated.
Configure a fallback chain
Go to ORIOZ SEO AI → Settings → Fallback. Use the drag-and-drop list to set your preferred model order. For example: set claude-sonnet as primary (best quality), gpt-4o-mini as fallback 1 (fast and cheap), and gemini-2.5-flash as fallback 2 (always available).
💡A good fallback chain combines a high-quality primary model with cheaper, more reliable fallbacks. This way you get the best output most of the time, with a safety net if anything goes wrong.
Yoast SEO Integration
If Yoast SEO is installed and active, ORIOZ SEO AI automatically fills in the following fields for every generated post:
- Focus keyword — extracted from the post title
- Meta description — generated separately using the meta prompt
No configuration needed. The integration activates automatically as soon as Yoast SEO is detected.
Rank Math Integration
If Rank Math is installed and active, ORIOZ SEO AI automatically fills in:
- Focus keyword — extracted from the post title
- Meta description — generated separately using the meta prompt
Like Yoast SEO, the integration is automatic and requires no extra setup. If both plugins are active, the plugin fills both.
ℹNeither Yoast SEO nor Rank Math is required. If neither is installed, the plugin still generates the post — only the SEO fields won’t be filled automatically.
Credits & Cost Tracking
ORIOZ SEO AI shows your live OpenRouter account balance directly in the plugin dashboard. Before every generation, you will see the estimated cost for that specific post — based on the model selected and the target word count.
Understanding costs
OpenRouter charges per token. A token is roughly 4 characters of text. A 1000-word post uses approximately 1500–2000 tokens for output, plus a few hundred for the prompt.
| Model | Approx. cost per 1000-word post |
|---|---|
| Gemini 2.5 Flash | ~$0.004 |
| Llama 3.3 70B | ~$0.006 |
| Claude Sonnet 4.6 | ~$0.009 |
| GPT-4o | ~$0.012 |
| GPT-4o (with image) | ~$0.05–0.10 |
💡For high-volume content production, Gemini 2.5 Flash or Llama 3.3 70B offer the best cost-to-quality ratio. Reserve GPT-4o or Claude for your most important posts.
License Management
Your license key is managed from ORIOZ SEO AI → Settings → License.
Deactivate a license
To move your license to a different WordPress site, first deactivate it from the current site by clicking Deactivate License. You can then activate it on a new site.
License renewal
Pro and Business licenses are valid for one year from the purchase date. You will receive a renewal reminder by email before expiry. After expiry, the plugin continues to work but no longer receives updates.
Updates
Plugin updates are delivered directly through your WordPress dashboard. When a new version is available, you will see an update notification under Plugins → Installed Plugins.
To receive updates, your license key must be active on the site. Updates are included for 1 year from the purchase date on Pro and Business plans.
💡We recommend keeping the plugin updated. Updates include compatibility fixes for new WordPress versions, new model support, and performance improvements.
Troubleshooting
The plugin says “Invalid API key”
Double-check that you copied the full OpenRouter API key without any extra spaces. The key should start with sk-or-. If the issue persists, regenerate a new key in your OpenRouter dashboard and try again.
Generation fails or times out
This usually means the selected model is temporarily unavailable on OpenRouter. Try switching to a different model. If you have a fallback chain configured (Pro/Business), the plugin will handle this automatically.
Yoast SEO / Rank Math fields are not filled
Make sure Yoast SEO or Rank Math is installed and activated. The integration only works with the standard versions — custom or modified versions may not be detected correctly.
Scheduled posts are not publishing
Scheduling relies on WP-Cron. Some hosting providers disable WP-Cron to save resources. Ask your host to enable it, or configure a real cron job. You can verify WP-Cron is running with a plugin like WP Crontrol.
The featured image was not generated
Check that AI Image Generation is enabled in Settings → Images and that your OpenRouter account has sufficient credits. Image generation is billed separately from text generation.
FAQ
Can I use the plugin on multiple sites?
Pro licenses are valid for 1 site. Business licenses are also valid for 1 site but include unlimited post generation. If you need to use the plugin on a second site, you will need a separate license.
Does the content go through ORIOZ servers?
No. All API calls go directly from your WordPress site to OpenRouter. ORIOZ has no visibility into your content, your API key, or your generated posts.
What happens when my license expires?
The plugin continues to work after license expiry, but you will no longer receive updates. We recommend renewing your license to stay up to date with new WordPress versions and new AI models.
Can I switch from Free to Pro without losing data?
Yes. Upgrading simply activates your license key on the same installation. All your settings, queues, and generated posts are preserved.
Does the plugin work with page builders?
Generated posts are saved as standard WordPress posts with HTML content. They work with Gutenberg and are compatible with most page builders that support standard post content.
Which image models are available?
Image models available via OpenRouter include GPT image models and Gemini image models. The exact list depends on what OpenRouter supports at any given time — new models are added automatically without a plugin update.
